1. Massage Therapy Services
KMC Massage and Wellness P.C. provides massage therapy and related wellness services in Macomb County, Michigan. Services are provided by properly licensed or otherwise authorized providers as required by applicable Michigan law.
Massage therapy services are intended to support general wellness, relaxation, muscular comfort, and related therapeutic goals. Massage therapy is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, medical treatment, physical therapy, chiropractic care, mental health care, or emergency medical services.
If you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy-related concern, recent surgery, contagious condition, severe pain, unexplained symptoms, or any concern about whether massage therapy is appropriate for you, you should consult a licensed medical professional before booking or receiving services.

7. Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policy
Appointments require advance planning and reserved time. Unless otherwise stated in writing:
Clients must cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made after that deadline may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of service price.
Clients who do not appear for a scheduled appointment may be charged a no-show fee of 100% of service price.
We reserve the right to waive fees at our discretion, including for emergencies or circumstances beyond a client’s control.
8. Late Arrival Policy
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to avoid delaying other clients. You may still be responsible for the full scheduled service fee. If you arrive too late for the service to be safely or reasonably performed, the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show.
9. Client Conduct and Professional Boundaries
Massage therapy is a professional service. Clients must behave respectfully and appropriately at all times.
Sexual comments, sexual conduct, harassment, threats, discriminatory behavior, intoxication, unsafe conduct, or inappropriate requests will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to immediately end a session, refuse service, charge the full service fee, and decline future appointments if a client violates professional boundaries or creates an unsafe or inappropriate environment.
10. Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
We reserve the right to refuse, postpone, modify, or discontinue services when we determine, in our professional judgment, that massage therapy may be unsafe, inappropriate, contraindicated, or inconsistent with professional standards.
This may include, but is not limited to, situations involving illness, fever, contagious conditions, skin infections, open wounds, intoxication, unsafe behavior, undisclosed medical issues, or failure to complete required intake forms.
11. Minors
Clients under 18 years old must have consent from a parent or legal guardian before receiving services. A parent or legal guardian may be required to remain present during the appointment, depending on the service, the client’s age, and business policy.
12. Gift Cards, Packages, and Promotions
Gift cards, prepaid packages, discounts, and promotional offers, if any, are subject to the terms stated at the time of purchase or issuance.
Unless otherwise required by law, promotional offers may not be redeemable for cash, may be limited to specified services, may not be combined with other offers, and may be subject to expiration dates or other restrictions.
Gift cards and prepaid packages should be treated like cash. We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or unauthorized use of gift cards or package credits, except as required by law.
13. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, service descriptions, designs, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to KMC Massage and Wellness P.C., and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
